Beautiful spot for catching sight of all sorts of nature and wildlife. Great bird hideaways for all ages and good facilities, including 2 toilets (one of them a compost toilet - great!).

Great, natural wildlife oasis on edge of a major urban centre. Always have a rare or interesting wildlife experience when I visit there. Recently saw a common snipe in the lake and quite a close up view of a common buzzard. Also seen deer on a few occasions.

Lots of birds and good hides, I saw lots of tree creepers

You can sign up to be a member via the website in just a few minutes, great couple of hours exploring and very peaceful in the hide spots watching the wildlife, pay attention to the map when you first go in and you can't go wrong

A beautiful nature reserve which you need to be a member of to enter - hides around the lake and a bird feeding hide - although they only put food out in winter months. One toilet on site accessible if you purchase a key for the hides from the Hancock museum. The woodlands are lush, full of wildlife. There is a wildlife meadow area which is nice to observe insects in the summer. Beware phone reception isnt brilliant in places.

A really nice place if you love to take a stroll. Few people jog in this area. A small road leading to the horse race field also has a picturesque scenery.
