Thanks For Working on our windows , boilers and doors. It gives me great pleasure to leave this review. Kevin has been nothing less than BRILLIANT when it comes to the work he has done on our house, which has been of the highest quality, no fuss, 100 % reliable and by the nicest guy you could wish to meet. He came highly recommended to us and after so many bad experiences over the years, we were over the moon to finally meet someone like Kevin. When he says he is going to do something, consider it done! He is reasonably priced, explains exactly what the options are, leaving you feeling like you are actually in control. Kevin actually has the perfect balance on so many things, like his communication! There were a few times where we didn't understand something and he patiently continued to explain in different ways until we got it. We appreciated this so much as we've had builders in the past that didn't fully explain all the options and then later we were left feeling unhappy with the final product or result, i.e. why didn't they tell us this before they did it..now its too late etc etc!!! You won't have to worry about this with Kevin. Nothing was too much trouble, no job too BIG or too small. We loved his work ethics too - very calm, friendly and good fun, but also just cracks on and gets the job done. Another thing - Kevin is a super nice guy. You just know that you could trust him 100% whether you were there or not. If you are looking for someone who is a great all rounder and you expect a great job done for a reasonable price, by someone reliable and trustworthy, then Kevin is your guy. We wouldn't use anyone else again and I would have no hesitation in recommending this gem of a guy.

Prior to choosing Smart Home Improvement People I gathered quotes from 5 other reputable companies. Each promising top end tech but at the end of the day, I was looking for a long term service. I quickly realized I could only receive this through Smart Home Improvement People. Smart home Improvement People (Kevin) was easily the most affordable, giving me more value for my money with no hidden costs like some others did. I actually confronted an installer with Kevin’s quotation for comparison purposes. His response was “ that total can’t be right, it must be excluding Vat !” The project initially was for lighting control in a five bedroom full refurb property. Kevin showed me loads of pics of past projects. I decided to take a look at his previous projects first hand. I was blown away.... Got home told the Mrs we are having a full upgrade, went back to the drawing board. The Mrs complained i was going over board, post pandemic she is loving every bit of it.

The installation engineer was very good at his job and answered all my queries. I also would like to point out that he wore a face mask during the entire time, as well as gloves (the installation happened during the COVID-19 pandemic). Overall, an excellent service. I will be using them again for any future smart home installations.
