The food was great, especially that there was something vegetarian besides fries. The kids had burger, schnitzel, and fried cheese and were happy too. The service was very fast in the beginning but after serving the food never showed up again. To pay we had to go inside to find someone. That is poor for a good restaurant.

Enjoyed the classic and authentic Slovenian dishes this restaurant had to offer, and at affordable prices. I recommend going here in a group and sharing plates so you can try different traditional dishes. Prices ranged from 10-20 but most in the lower end of that range. Dessert was not so good, but perhaps only due to being unfamiliar with the flavours. All I can say is to stick to Bled Cake! Service can be very much improved here, when they are not busy (earlier in the evening around 6-8ish) they are fine but came here my first night by myself (9pm arrival) and the service was not so great and the staff were rather rude to me.
Place was great! Food was good! But service could really afford to be improved, especially from the older waiter with the moustache. My friend and I was not impressed with the way we were treated.
If I could I would give 6 stars. The food is amazing at very affordable prices. We had some of the traditional Slovenian dishes and they are really good. Also, the staff is very friendly and easy going. Even the bread served with soups is good and in my experience this is above standard in Slovenia.
We have been there twice and both times it was very tasty. I ordered a kralska sausage and a trout. Also, it is possible to order take away food. The prices are nice and affordable. It's nearby the church and a path up to the castle. Recommend!
It is a local county restaurant since 1909. In the middle of the town. So local feel. The meals also like home cook. Enjoy the surrounding and also the deco of the restaurant so beautiful. Will surely be back again!
