Oh this is good. The displays are numerous and full of detail from prehistory to modern gourdon. They have English folders for those of us who are francais challenged. The zig zag gardens close by are a testament to the dedicated volunteers who tend to it on a weekly basis. Fruit trees, veges and herbs. There's even a small breakout space/cafe/reading room as well. Not sure about opening hours. Check before attending or check my photo for 2018 hours. I would ring beforehand as it's not unusual in France for there to be a sign on the closed and locked door saying "fermeture exceptionnelle"

Endroit bien rénové à découvrir absolument lorsque l’on vient à Gourdon. L’accueil y est agréable et les visites, libres et gratuites.
Joli endroit à découvrir parmi toutes ses ruelles . Bâtiments bien rénovés et jardins bien entretenus.
