We have had two sons at Grace Preparatory School in Stafford, VA (GPS). GPS is a University Model Christian School that partners with parents in the education of the students. Our sons have had excellent teachers over our 5 years and they have received excellent instruction. The University Model is NOT for every family, because parents are expected to take an active part in there child's education, but we like many others have found it a perfect balance between homeschooling and private schooling. My wife and I recommend it highly!

We jumped in mid way through a semester, with 2 children and everyone was very accommodating. It's a no pressure, no judgement type feeling as a parent who is new to this type of schooling. Everyone is super helpful from the other parents to the administration. The teachers really are there to help you and your children. Because there it's not just a job, educating children it's a passion. Our kids love this school. We will continue to have our family at Grace prep as long as we are in the area. I really encourage anyone who is connsidering Grace prep to just call. Ask your questions, take a tour, because they're never to busy to answer a phone or meet with someone.
