Clean facility and friendly service. Surprising how they can fit so much variety in a relatively small store. Not only fish, some meat and pastries. And more. Some microbrewery and local wine and cider. Sushi counter had some interesting options for a reasonable price.

Needed a quick plate of sushi. Fresh fish, rice needs a bit more salt/vinegar/sugar but all in all i would go back. Big selection of seafood and related condiments and accessories. Has been around for a long long time. Nice to have in the area.

Exposed brick walls, high ceiling, hardwood floor, overall a very attractive interior. Menu has a ton of drink options and full food menu, with some items having some pretty cheeky names. I sat at the bar and got a goat burger. Very nicely done. Bartender was friendly and courteous, and bonus style points for the fedora.

My review is in regards to Ikura Sushi which is sold at Poissonerie Cowie. 3 weeks ago I purchased a couple of Poke bowls. The rice was soaked in mayo and since the people working behind the counter look new I figured it was a mistake. Today I bought another one and It was again all saucy and gooey. It’s certainly far from authentic Japanese food. They changed their recipe I guess. No longer eatable. It should only be rice at the bottom. It’s unfortunate that I’ve spent about 39 for nothing.
