Great GP Practice. Can’t fault them. Mainly used for ailments relating to my children. Doctor Always quick to call back (even during lockdowns) and have accommodated last minute face to face same day appointments when needed! Friendly and helpful receptionist and all in all a good team!
I would just like to thank Nurse Jackie and Nurse Flavia for their kindness and commitment in the way they looked after me recently. Over several weeks, twice a week, they bandaged a large wound following surgery. At first their task was huge, I was very worried and felt that I would never heal, but slowly and surely they nursed me back to health, with professionalism and kindness escalating concerns they had along the way. I will never forget them and am soo grateful to them
I have been with this surgery now for approx. 15 years, and have always been very happy with the level of service and support from the GP's, nurses and the receptionists/administrative team. The receptionists are always helpful, courteous and timely. Nurse Jackie somehow magically conjures up time out of thin air and is very supportive, and Dr Davidson-Lamb has saved my life and my sanity on more than one occasion. Her level of care, support and compassion throughout some very difficult health challenges has been second-to-none, always appreciative of the whole-self concept - e.g. pyschological impact on my physical health) which, in my experience, is a rarity. Grand Drive practice has tackled lockdown and it's impact on their service delivery really well, and on the handful of occasions I've had to attend the practice in-person, I have felt very safe. This practice (and Dr Lamb) is one of the key reasons I am so reluctant to move from the area!
Dr Alg is a very good doctor and I would definitely recommend him and grand drive surgery
