I am new to BJJ and the instructor is very thorough in his teaching. The other students are of all ages and experience levels. The more experienced students have been really helpful and the camaraderie among everyone is awesome. I highly recommend stopping in for a free class or two.

I’m in my mid-fifties and have been training at Lakeshore Jiu Jitsu for three years. Whether it kids or seasoned adults, the instructor helps you grow from where you are now. The students are all welcoming and encouraging to make each other better. There are no big egos here and no one needs to be the big dog. I wish I’d started decades ago and would encourage anyone thinking about trying BJJ to come and try classes.

The other students at the gym are friendly and more than willing to help on technique . It really is like a family.
