Not sure why they charge 4.00/taco although it says 3.50/taco on Thursday on their website. I know 0.50 is not a big deal but the problem needs to be addressed. I revisited the store a couple of weeks later. I must say that they were very prompt with addressing the price issue. I was very very happy with my last visit there. Their coconut shrimp taco is delicious.

Amazing tacos and excellent poutine
Really good tacos and they got big portions of fries. However, they were short of staff the day i was there. Cashier was doing his best but he had lots of phone orders that were coming in at the same time he was trying to take orders from me and my friend.
I feel sorry for the owners first I will admit that the food is amazing but to be the only people in on Sunday afternoon with 3 staff members working every table was dirty my wife tried to order more food for when she went to work later and all staff members were hiding in the back no where to be found. As a red seal chef I personally recommend the food but the staff needs to step up there game in a big way.. I must say I have recently started coming back to Joey's urban and I must say the have stepped up their game the restaurant was clean in spite being busy and the food was great as always
The food was mediocre. What was really nasty were the spoons. They were filthy. To see someone offering something that dirty as cutlery for everyone to put in their mouth makes you wonder how clean some of the places you cant see from the counter are. I have been more satisfied at some McDonald's.
Good food and great service would recommend Joey's to anyone. The food came right from the hot kitchen to our tables it was nice to wait for it to cool down rather hurry and eat before it gets cold.
Food was absolutely stellar. We got one of each taco and every one was amazing, the 2 varieties of ship taco really stole the show. Friendly staff and lots of drinks choices (both alcoholic and not), fresh rustic fries for the poutine, would defiantly come to this clean, casual eatery again.
These guys are the best! Fast and always delicious! Best Poutine and Tacos no doubt.
