I love the design of the restaurant. It's very pretty. The staff is SUPER friendly and always checking on you through out your meal. The food is AMAZING. The bacon cheese burger just melts in your mouth. The bacon is cooked just right, the pickles aren't too sour, just right. All together the burger is perfect. The poutine is also DELICIOUS!! The gravy is the best thing I've ever come across. The fries are perfectly cooked. Not too crispy, not undercooked, just right. My family really enjoyed eating at Smitty's. Would definitely eat here again!!

The food and service were very good. We very much enjoyed our time here. Thoughtful staff and comfortable interior. It's being Christmas, they had a tree and lots of inviting decorations.
Got there just before 8pm when they close at 9pm, which we thought wasnt a problem. They told us to seat ourselves as one lady was ringing other people up. And the other lady was to busy closing the store... so we sat where we wanted and had our order taken by the lady closing. We got our drinks which were garbage. Both got coke and they tasted so nasty. The lady got a new one and you could hear the machine making a weird noise. She went and talk to someone in the back about it but still served us garbage drinks. All the open signs were turned off or flipped to closed as soon as we walked in. Not the greatest experience when you feel like you are being rushed so they can close close to an hour early. Only good thing was the food was quick and hot.
Wouldn't suggest visiting in the afternoon. If at all, the old ladies chicken was thuroughly cooked, yes, but so should it be if you leave it to keep warm on a stove top all day. The waitress was great though.
Usually quiet and service is very nice. Good portions on meals too. Ideal for family dinners out.
This restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, however the food is relatively expensive, while the ambiance is that of a fast food restaurant. The seating is clustered and for people in a wheelchair it is hard to enter. The side walk is small but rather high (for a wheelchair) and the parking is away from the door. When people park close to the sidewalk it is hard to maneuver a wheelchair. See the photo's
Very friendly and usually quiet. Service is fast and the food is delicious. Perfect place for a family brunch, even with little ones.
Meals are filling here. Large servings. Good home cooking. Great service. Very accommodating staff. Popular spot.
