After the sudden death of one of my budgies, I contacted Burge's to take in the rest of my birds to get them checked to make sure whatever killed my bird wasn't contagious. After a quick and friendly visit we determined not only the sex of my birds (which I was unware of) but also that, while there were some smaller underlying issues with a couple of my birds, they were generally fine. Not only that, but we determined what caused my budgie to pass so suddenly and I was given medicine for the rest of my birds just in case. Will definitely be taking my babies back in the future again. Amazing place.

I was fortunate to be able to adopt one of their last Sun Conure babies almost 16 years ago, and never thought twice about bringing her to Dr Burge for checkups and health concerns. The staff is both extremely professional and compassionate. I never had any doubt my little Sun was comfy and happy while there. Sadly, she passed away this year due to an unexpected, yet unpreventable accident. But Dr Burge did everything in her power to help her and make her comfortable at the end, which means so much to me. It is because of Dr Burge that my life was opened to the wonderful experience of parrot companionship, and I will have no hesitation to bring my next feathered friend to her too.

One of my mom's birds attacked the other one and broke her wing. We took her to Burge Bird Services and in just after about an hour they had her patched up, wrapped snuggly and ready to heal!!! They were so attentive afterwards with calls to see how she was doing and making sure she was eating and drinking properly. I was VERY impressed with their professionalism!
We love Burge Bird Services. Julie is extremely caring and knowledgeable. She has helped us keep our African Grey happy and healthy! Highly recommend!
