Found the guy at this shop very helpful, polite, and knowledgeable, he advised my father in law which scooter was good for him and we came away very happy, at a later date my wife needed a scooter but it had to be a boot scooter, she has osteoporosis in her spine he told us at that time there was only one make of boot scooter on the market with all round suspension and he had one in stock which we purchased, it is an excellent scooter and my wife loves it, latter my father in law decided he wanted an 8mph scooter, so we went back through the ProTec shop at Grantham and once again the guy did his job with flying colours, he even advised us to sell the father in law's scooter on eBay as we would get a lot more than he could allow us as a part exchange and true to his word we got 150 more than he could allow,. Yes he does run a barbershop as well but he has to make a living, he politely ask us to wait while he finished a customers hair, so we browsed the shop while we waited but it was no hardship, he even delivered the 8mph scooter free of charge this guy deserves topmarks for his services , glad we found him,

Steer clear! Sold us a scooter second hand but only made it to the corner before the battery packed up. Took it home but it wouldnt charge. Took it back and the shop said "what do you expect me to do about it" and refused to replace it.Then found out the charger didnt work either and the right front wheel was bent and unsafe to drive. 1 day we owned it!!! 1 day!!!! we cannot afford another one, now we are stuck in the house as neither of us can walk
I went to this shop and purchased yet another second hand scooter, the service and price are the best around, as a valued customer I'm now paying weekly for my scooter, this place can't be beaten on value and service.
Visited today to enquire about a bath lift! To start with the door to the shop was locked and a notice said that you need to enter the barber shop to enquire. We enquired and was told to wait until he finished cutting a customers hair. Approx 10 mins later the gentleman came to the counter and asked ' what are you after?' We initially wanted to look around the shop to see if there was anything in addition to a bath lift that may help our elderly relative who was with us at the time! We were told that they do a bath lift which is in the window and he is not prepared to take it out of the window to show us, was not helpful, he was abrupt, rude and we received no customer service at all. As we were leaving he said he saw us looking on the internet, so was virtually not willing to open the shop or help us at all. Shocking service and would hate to think what the service would be like once you had parted with your money, if that is possible given the rudeness of the staff member... Avoid at all costs!!!!
