Sloan & Williams is a nice wine bar in Grapevine. Very friendly service! It’s pricey, too bright, good live music. Very clean. They take Covid precautions seriously, which is good. Didn’t try any food. Been there a couple of times. They stopped serving flights, which doesn’t make sense because they are a wine bar. I like the place! I’d recommend it to anyone. Go check it out.

We came in about 5pm on a Saturday We saw that there was a clipboard with a wait list. We stood at the front awkwardly for almost 5 minutes while multiple staff members walked by us and didn't even acknowledge our presence. We stood there so long that tables nearby looked at us awkwardly as well, as if they felt sorry for us. Finally we were offered a table in the back which was fine with us. We were never welcomed or greeted, just told that we had a table in the back if that was okay and that was it. I tried to order a wine on their list and was told they were out of it. Then I tried to order an appetizer on their menu and was also told they were out of that. The server was nice and attentive, the only saving grace, but also almost charged us for a more expensive wine than we had ordered until I caught the mistake. Food was sports bar average. We won't be back.
Came out for the weekend. We had so much fun here that we came back the very next day. The food and wine were excellent. Everyone was so amazing and kind! A new favorite for us. I bought 2 wine glasses and a bottle of their wine. Wonderful experience. Thank you for making us feel so warm and welcomed!
A random event brought me to this place to meet the one of the owners, Alan. Genuinely probably one of the nicest guys I've met. They were closed but I asked hopefully if I could see the inside and hear a little bit about there wines... the smile on his face when he said \Heck YAH!\ Said it all. Very knowledgeable in is his craft and his pride shows in the establishment but even more so in his wines. I'm a red wine guy myself and gladly kept accepting the tastings with the great stories behind them but even his whites just catch your eye and taste buds. They brew a line of ciders which he keeps in house and they have quaint paper labels with great names like Tea-Rex Apple and Voodoo Blackberry. You just can't get more care in a can than this place. Kitchen was closed but if the building, drink, and owners are an indicator, it'll be blue ribbon also. I grew up in Grapevine and am proud to say this place does our sleeply little town justice. Go one and have a drink, eat a bite and buy a bottle.... or 3 !
Love their red wines, and their blushes. They've got really comfortable seating and friendly staff in one of my favorite parts of Texas.
