The Laurel is absolutely wonderful - I can’t say enough about how highly I think of this venue! As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the opportunity to photogram couples getting married here a few times, and I am always so impressed by the staff (especially Julianne and Carly!). Their kindness, attention to detail, and the way they care for their clients and guests is absolutely wonderful. The bridal suite has so plenty of room for the bridal party to get ready in (and it’s so picturesque!), and the grounds are beautiful, well maintained, and perfect for portraits. I love the fireplace and covered patio outside for cocktail hour, and having the chapel and ballroom so near to one another makes everything easy for guests to enjoy the day. I am a wedding photographer and I almost never leave reviews, but The Laurel is a great venue, and coordinator, Carly Suhr, and her people did a fantastic job lats week. In the heat, in a pandemic, everything went smooth, no issues that I could see. Its a beautiful place, and Carly made it even better, Clean, good air conditioning in August, a million little things done right. trust me, thats not the case at most venues. We are so happy to have hosted our wedding at The Laurel! The venue was inclusive of things like tables, linens, etc. which took a considerable amount of stress off my plate. It was also a beautiful venue inside and out with a charming atmosphere which all our guests loved. Julianne, our day of coordinator, was so helpful, professional, and answered all my emails right away! I definitely recommend hosting your wedding here too!

The Laurel was the second venue we toured and I immediately canceled all other tours right after! Sandy greeted us on that first day with such warmth, kindness and professionalism. She listened and answered all of our questions and concerns! We immediately felt so welcomed and this feeling continued when we met our coordinator Julianne! Julianne was professional, poised and gracious at all times! Thanks to Julianne and her team Jonathan and I were able to fully enjoy our wedding day without a worry in the world! There are truly no words to express how grateful we are to the Laurel and their team! I cant think of a more perfect venue and Im so happy we found The Laurel!!

We just had our daughter’s wedding there August 1 and it was absolutely an amazing venue! Perfect in every way! Even during the stresses of all the changes from COVID19, they made every effort to accommodate us. Carly, our wedding coordinator was simply amazing. Very helpful and resourceful. If you are planning a special wedding, I highly recommend The Laurel.......the facilities are beautiful....the food is AMAZING! We had the Italian Buffett and it was awesome!
