I am from the States and have been backpacking for several months and have worked out at dozens of gyms in Europe. I would say this was one of my favorite boxes thus far. Not only due to the programming, coaching, and equipment, but because of the people! The owner was super welcoming and gave me recommendations for my trip, one of the members drove me to my hostel in the city center after training, and one of the members invited me to dinner. I dropped into this gym twice during my 5 day stay in Florence and it was extremely welcoming both times, and i was able to get a great workout. The gym is right outside the city (about 3 miles) but you can easily take a bus (31 or 32 i believe). It takes about 25 minutes to get there and drops you off / picks you, up 2 blocks away. Highly recommended.
Dropped in for a workout during my recent trip to Italy. Tommaso and the entire gym couldn’t have been nicer and more welcoming. Made me feel a part of community with guidance in English, encouragement during the workout, and even a coffee afterwards. Have dropped into a lot of gyms around the globe and this one is at the top of the list. Hope to return again soon!
I dropped into Gallo Nero while on vacation in Florence and had an outstanding experience! The coaching was top notch and very attentive and the owners, staff and members were all very welcoming and made me feel like I was at home. They couldn’t have been nicer! Overall, this is an excellent box and I look forward to dropping in again. I would highly recommend CF Gallo Nero to anyone looking for a great CF experience in Florence!
