Amazing service and an honest operation. I had previously been to Orillia Mazda to get my winter tires put on, while there the mechanic advised me that I needed to replace my rear brakes. The mechanic there kind of spooked me and emphasized that the work needed to be done immediately or it would be unsafe to drive before my next oil change. I found the whole situation suspicious since the vehicle is less than 3 years old and last time I was there my brakes were fine. So I called Nelson Automotive for a second opinion. I was booked in a few days later and advised that my brakes wouldn’t need to be replaced for another 10-15,000km. Dan reassured me and told me to I could certainly make it through the winter and said he could do the work when I needed to have my winter tires changed over to my all seasons. Not to mention his quote for the rear brake job was less than half of what I was quoted at Mazda.
Fair prices, quick, and well-done service. I really like that you get a quote prior to any work being done and that the price comes in or under budget. Would recommend this auto shop to anyone in or around Gravenhurst looking for a fair and honest mechanic. Cheers
