Roksy’s Cafe is a great family owned spot with a great beer selection. It’s an awesome alternative to what’s available at the Wharf. They were extremely hospitable and even brought out some shaved turkey for our dog to enjoy on the patio!
The owners were super nice and gave our dogs a homemade treat. Their patio is beautiful and their homemade food was great. Would definitely come back.
We had omelettes and it was great. Very nice having breakfast in the patio. Looks like an ice cream shop but they do have a breakfast menu. Nice discovery close to our hotel.
Incredible service, good coffee & delicious food. If you hit the boardwalk and need a bite to eat this is the place to go. Pirogies are top notch!
Roksy was very nice. The place has a beautiful patio with a view. Everything from the omelettes, the coffee, and the cake were delicious.
Roksy's Cafe is a gem hidden deep in Muskoka. Be careful not to miss out on it. This is exactly what you go up north for: to discover things and places that are unique and one of a kind. Places so different from all the corporate franchised run of the mill joints that GTA is filled with. This cafe is exactly this. It is unique and one of the kind gem hidden up north. Everything seems right in this place. The decor is beautiful, fresh and toned. Food is great and tasted like home made food. Simple menu, quick polite and non-intrusive service and the restaurant was squeaky clean. The two patio decks on the waterfront boardwalk were super nice. I only wanted to grab a snack there and I stayed for over an hour – that's how pleasant and relaxing it feels. They also have draft local beer and very good coffee. The best thing to do there is to park somewhere in the area and walk the entire boardwalk that will take you to a short walking trail carrying over the rocks past the Marriott hotel with two gazebos on top of the rocks. It's only a short hike but the views of lake Muskoka are absolutely spectacular and then, on the way back, to swing by Roksy's. They also serve breakfast there, so next time I'll check it out and I'll go for my morning hike after. On Wednesday there was a great farmers market right across the road and Roksy's would be also a great place to anchor if you wanted to drive up highway 35 later for the longer hiking trails or Bala Falls. I hope this cafe grows quickly and is open full hours, because this is the kind of place that we need more of. This is the kind of place that you want to find when you leave the city.
Excellent food and location. Grilled Cheese and Bacon was delicious, as was the Paulaner Beer
