Came from up north to visit family in Grays. Family recommended Eat East for evening meal, was told originally a buffet restaurant and recently change to a proper sit in restaurant. Warm and friendly welcome as we enter the door. Food was excellent with traditional Chinese roast duck and crispy pork with added bonus of a small and popular selection of Chinese dim sum. We all enjoy the meal. Decor was ok and clean. Fabulous service. Must give it a try if around the area and feeling hungry. Keep up the good work.

The food was AMAZING!!! We will definitely be going back! The owner and staff make you feel right at home! The 10 deal is definitely a must you eat yourself to death and if you don’t finish you can take it home!
Great value oriental restaurant and take away. The pork dumplings are magnificent. Big portions and family friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here.
This was a good, Buffet, but now, a Fantastic, quick serve Chinese sit down or Take Away. We can't comment on the Take away. The food is served very quickly, all fresh.In my opinion this is by far the tastiest Chinese i have had. The staff are very helpful, Thanks to Maria and Alan, i think Simon was there at table 28. Almost forgot, the price was great, we paid 7 for food and drink.This would be perfect for kids parties
Amazing restaurant. Clean, wonderful staff, do friendly, polite, and attentive, I felt pampered from start to finish, and the prices are ridiculously inexpensive considering how many courses are included, and how delicious the food it. Soup was tasty, starter was enormous and made with care ant attention. Main course was so generous I could not even finish it. Chopsticks were offered as well as forks, we stayed for ages afterwards without feeling unwelcome, our drinks were topped up all night. I couldn't recommend this place any more than is humanly possible. Please visit.
Friendly welcome, great service, excellent food and outstanding value for money. I especially enjoyed the Hot & Sour soup, and the stuffed dumplings were out of this world. Tonight was our second visit, and I'm already thinking about what I'll order on our third.
We are always made to feel welcome and enjoy our visits to eat east. The food is wonderful and we now use this as our regular Chinese.
Superb value and great food! Portions are really generous and the manger is fantastic! Definitely worth visiting when in Grays!
