I had a terrible year with Griffin as a tenant. They are quick at responding when they are receiving money or it benefits them but diabolical when it's the other way around. The lack of communication their end is terrible and not just since COVID. For example, for our initial 3 month flat inspection at the end of last year, they decided to not inform us that the landlord had cancelled then argued with me over the phone. This is one example of many. Another issue I had with them was recently when I was receiving at least 2 phone calls a day for someone else to come and see the flat once we had announced we were leaving even though I had requested 3 times to not be rang due to being at work. However this was c ignored and they still rang me during work hours because they think they know best. The final straw for me was this week when I was trying to chase the return of my deposit which they took their lovely time sending me back. I tried to contact them for an update but this was ignored. I think in total there are 2 members of staff which appear to know what they are doing, one of which is fairly new. As for the rest they are rude, lazy and won't help you unless it benefits the company. Shocking.

Absolutely disgraceful service from Griffin. Instructed solicitors to pursue a service charge before even calling or emailing to tell me there was an outstanding balance. Was told letters were sent to the subject property, however I was not residing at the address when the letters were sent. Was told their policy is to send letters - as if this means anything. Just because something is your policy, this doesn't make it right. Spoke to Nick on the phone who promised I would receive a call back from Desmond which never happened. Case was picked up by Steph who said I wouldn't recieve a call from Desmond due to the fact it had already been handed to the solicitors. I then responded explaining how I thought this was unreasonable, and that I would be happy to pay the service charge, but would leave a negative review if the issue was not resolved circumventing the solicitors. I was told this was threatening and that my comments would be passed onto the solicitor as this was considered defamation - how helpful! This was sent via email, instead of them returning my calls as requested. Overall, totally negative and unhelpful experience from all staff members dealt with. Situation and review could have been completely avoided if any member of staff had called (or even emailed me) to pay the balance.

Estate agents with no decency or consideration. Rudely spoken to particularly by Debbie who couldn't be bothered to reply to emails or phone calls I would often have to leave 2 or 3 messages first. I guess once they have your money the customer service goes out the window. Despite previously introducing other colleagues to the agency after my recent experience I have told everyone to steer clear. The guy name is Robbi . Very unprofessional but sweet talker I’m very disappointed this agency Never go again

My partner is currently buying a flat through Griffin, Gary has been fantastic. We have also dealt with Ashley in the past and today he gave us some really good advice even though he didn't have to. First class agency!

This company don’t tell you in the first step what documents you need to rent a house but if you want to rent a house they take a holding fee without a invoice and after if you folding with the income they don’t give the money back! This is robbery
