Do not use Hermes. I purchased postage and wanted to add on insurance prior to postage. Was told this was possible - it is not. I was told to post the parcel and I can call and add the insurance. Lies. Hermes are happy to employer thieves and deny all responsibility when packages are stolen. I posted a parcel to a buyer. An employee stole the parcel. Opened it. Stole the contents (iPhone). Replaced with a bag of sugar. And posted to recipient. Horrifying experience prior to postage. Horrifying experience during postage. 10 hours on hold. Being hung up. Being passed around from one employer to the other. Hermes blaming me. Recipient and myself currently getting the police involved. The delivery driver was a white man with a beard and a blue van - however because of the contracted self employed driver system and the complete lack of awareness of their depot management or procedures - who has the stolen the parcel will be impossible to determine. Unless of course the police take fingerprints of every employee at the depot. Will never use Hermes again. Cannot believe reading these reviews and others online that a business can still continue to get away with such criminal practices.

My parcel has been directed to the wrong depot. I have been checking up on the tracking I really would like to know when I am getting my parcel..Considering it's only coming from London. I have waited for nearly a week.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I currently have 2 parcels lost in the Hermes network with a combined value of over 200. I have been tirelessly trying to find out what is going on, but to no avail. All correspondence goes through a robot which is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. I haven't been able to resolve anything and am still out of pocket with no explanation of when, or if I will ever receive my parcels. It baffles me as to how a company can still be in operation with such poor customer service. How hard is it to deliver a parcel?????
Friendly enough, we'll some of them. Small yard to get into and having to dodge their artics coming in and out. Be prepared to queue up and wait and wait to deliver.
They keep delivering parcels to me that are for other addresses and people who don't live here. They just leave them on my doorstep and I find them when I get home from work. I have to take them to the right address myself. This is a right pain for me and the person who the parcel is meant for.

Terrible service. Please don't use hermes. Fedex, DHL and others but not hermes. The couriers keep orders and don't deliver properly. Not to be trusted and customer services isnt good either.
