Hi not just this pub ,but due to new covid rules , at the very least buy a box of masks ,and charge for them!! Come on!!!!! 125% profit Reason being, joe public who dont drink on daily basis are not up to speed with the recent laws Ideally tactical approach would be signage, and the opportunity to purchase a mask which could delivered by barstaff ! You run a nice public house but please think about the way you put forward the law Last alcohol that was drunk by me 30 By myself peacefully in your establishment After all not every one is reliant on alcohol on a daily, hourly basis You are the only one failing to offer a mask solution, instead of telling people who are none the wiser Get out !!!! Or buy a mask , then you can spend money here SO WHO READS THIS you must wear a mask until seated , ps another public house offered a mask

Spotlessly clean, excellent cellar, great regular and guest ales. Outside covered and open seating areas within the premises.

They had decent ales as well as the usual larger. But the decor was interesting, the landlord had pinned all the pump badges to the wooden canopy of the bar. Some of them were ale of by-gone years and some were quite modern. They don't sell food apart from the usual bar snacks. This pub is a drinking pub so don't expect anything else because you will be dissapointed.
