I just want to say thank you so much for the lovely meal we had for Valentine’s Day the food was ready on time and was hot when we got home and tasted lovely best meal we have had in a long time I would advise anyone to give the Whitmore Arms a try great food and great customer service thanks again Dave

The smoked fish platter is by far the best starter. The roasts are fab, the triple meat is great for big eaters! The puddings are well sized and the choices are varied. I think 19.95 for 3 courses is excellent value for money as the food is top quality.

Wonderful food and service. I went to The Whitmore Arms to take advantage of their change of scenery deal (rent a workspace in their Colonels Room for 10 including unlimited tea, coffee and water and a basic sandwich for lunch). It was a lovely place to work and from the second I got there I felt welcomed. I upgraded from a basic sandwich for a small cost and had a bacon and brie sandwich which was delicious! It's a great scheme and truly a welcome change of scenery.

we had the pleasure of having lunch here today. It was wonderful to go into a restaurant that was clean, bright and didn't have sticky tables!! The food was delicious and well presented, well done to the kitchen team!! We will definitely return and recommend to our friends etc. Thank you Whitmore arms

Reasonably priced really nice staff. The food was ok but not amazing. I could tell the spuds were reheated for example. But a nice selection of ale with a well thought out response to the covid crisis.
