Being someone that knows zero about cars I'm so glad I was recommended this MOT garage. Always had great friendly service and everything explained to me. Never felt like I've been 'taken for a ride'. 100% recommend to everyone looking for an honest trustworthy garage.

I have used this garage for nearly 3-4 years and they have been great and fair. Unfortunately, things have changed recently. I have two BMW cars and both of them have gone to this garage for MOT. MOT tester Mr. B. J. FITZGERALD thinks that he is fair. Unfortunately, I disagree. Few issues: 1- I have supplied front pads and advised to get them changed before MOT and then test the car. Surprise. MOT failure a) Front disc pads too low. (why on earth am I supplying you with pads) b) Rear tyres are at legal limit (Fair reason for failure). Advisories: a) Brake service light is on and excessive moisture. (yes, because bmw has waiting list and they have advised to bring the car in first week of July. I have informed MOT tester, but its still on advisories). Also, see attached photo to check if there is any excessive moisture! b) Front inner tyres are stepped. (Hang on! this is normal on all bmw cars so this is unfair. I have double checked and they are safe and road legal). AND they scratched wheels despite of telling them that it has low profile wheels. See attached photo of front tyre! Sorry guys, stop being unfair and adding unnecessary stuff on advisories. This is second time that you are doing to our cars! Lastly, if I have changed all four wheels with nearly 4-5 mm of rubber then why is there still advisory left b) left on my mot. There is no stepping on new set of wheels as we changed all four wheels. Oh..I should not forget that wheels of my car has been damaged especially the diamond cut part. I have clearly mentioned that I have low profile tyres but damage to the wheels speak for themselves as to how much care was taken when taking them off. See attached photos. There is no doubt that guys are very friendly and rates are reasonable. However if MOT test guy is giving you headaches without any reason, then there is no reason to be your loyal customer. Time to find a fair MOT tester and I will recommend against this garage especially if you are after MOT test.
