It was a really neat place. The walking area was pretty awesome to see the footprints of the animals in the concrete. Was pretty hot today.

I donated several waterfowl mounts. The staff was very appreciative of my donation. I sure they will go to good use toward educational material.

Very educational and it was very nice to learn about something I drive by often. The staff was friendly and happy to entertain every question we had no matter how silly. This isn't really hidden but it is definitely a gem. You will leave educated and with sence of awe. If your even a little bit of a nature lover this is a must see!

We've passed this place several times before and finally had a chance to visit in the last few days. The most impressive thing that stood out was the quality and condition of the exhibits. All of them were in working order and while they were well used, the didn't look in a state of extreme disrepair. The staff was courteous and the information was very thorough. We were on a road trip so we didn't have time to explore the walking trails but it will be a future destination for us. Whether you're passing through or making a direct trip here, it's well worth the time and money! It was a very neat experience to be visiting a wildlife refuge that is only one of 24 sites in the United States to be recognized on the international scale.
