I recently had gotten a Green cheek conure, after 2 weeks of having him I noticed he seemed sick so I decided to take him for a check up. Turns out he was sick. Dr.L was great, she put Taffy on 2 different medicines for around a month. She was very honest and told us which tests she’d recommend and how much they’d cost. I was very worried for Taffy and was thinking of hospitalizing him but she advised I’d wait a little to see his progress. She was right, after a week Taffy was feeling better and I didn’t have to spend money on hospitalizing him. She answered every question I had in person, through the phone and even through her email. She was very helpful and I’m very grateful Taffy is doing much better!

I took my ferret Rhaenys in for an exam because she wasn't feeling well and my usual vet was closed, plus, I wasn't pleased with the last vet's service. This place was the polar opposite! Everyone I interacted with was friendly, kind, and reassuring. The new patient intake was so thorough, I knew they'd take great care of her just from that alone. The vet that did her exam was professional, friendly, and took the time to answer all of my questions. She explained in detail all of my options for my ferret, the costs, and the best way to handle the situation. My ferret was so comfortable afterwards as well, I could tell she was handled by people who truly love animals and want the best for them. It can be hard to find a good, reliable exotic vet that is up to date with research and medical technologies, but we've found them at Long Island Birds and Exotics Vet Clinic! We couldn't be happier (and healthier)! Thank you LIBEVC! You all were amazing and I'm so glad I found you all! Keep up the great work!!
