Food was great. Staff very inviting. Please visit if you get the chance. We love Portugal and were due to go visit before lockdown. This place evoked the best memory of the Algarve. I would visit if you have the chance

We thought this was a Portuguese restaurant. Wrong! It's a simple bistro run by a Portuguese couple. It provides grilled (and only grilled) chicken, pork, liver and rump steak, plus burgers when they have them. No fish, no vegetarian, so forget vegan. The steak I had was 3 slices of minute steak. It was served on a huge plate packed with the meat, chips, rice (why add another carb?), and a tiny salad. For 14.95 it was great value for money, as was the Portuguese beer and orange sponge roll (by itself: no blurty cream or ice cream). If that's what you want, you couldn’t do better: you get friendly, helpful service, big portions, all at a good price. We wanted Portuguese fish dishes, so we were disappointed.
