We had a delicious meal off their daily specials board. I had toad in the hole and my husband had sausage and bacon casserole neither of them disappointed, the sausages were very tasty. There was an excellent choice of meals on the menu many of them with out the dreaded chips. I had lemon meringue for dessert, again I could not fault it, my husband had apple caramel pie, which he really enjoyed. The service was very good, we got everything we ordered without having to chase anything. The staff were excellent, they were always in the background but not intrusive. We will return when we are back in Norfolk.

After a walk we stopped here for Lunch. My partner was thrilled that on the special board was Homemade Rabbit Pie. I had a lovely vegetarian pie with the trimmings. Finished of with hot Apple & caramel pie all homemade. Great service too. Well done.

Food was delicious. Fish finger sandwich had large chunks of batter fish. The chips were brilliant and crispy. My husbands burger was excellent too. Great cold pints. Lost a star for no track and trace details taken.

Turned up here about 2 in the afternoon and had the pub to ourselves. Friendly staff and a great choice of food. Sensibly priced too.
