shame on these people ! they need to be inspected ! i have left 3 messages in 4 weeks to donate i last left a message with Grace since my first call i’ve now donated to 7 other organization instead of them. Grace has nit called me back. people are starving. this company is a disgrace. i’m only one person trying to donate. i am reporting this here because they just do not care !

New year and a new experience. The Greater Chicago Food Depository believes a healthy community starts with food. Volunteers are needed to help sort and repack food to be provided where it's needed most. Growing up in Chicago and Cook County, I have seen both sides of the coin. Wanted to say what a great organization, well staffed and prepared. Our team was Sweet Potatoes, with packing over 6,600# pounds, this equates to 18,864 meals throughout Chicagoland. Any bit helps, your time, money or food donation.

Was able to drop my load when I got there even though I was early. They unloaded the trailer in a good time. It didn't take forever. The receiving guys were polite

Not bad. Be careful which street you use for approaching, some of the streets are narrow.

I need to get involved more often. This was a nice mother and daughter bonding. We gotta give back more nowadays. Instill the right values into our children and teens today. I started working young and this was a nice introduction to a work world. You can't put a price on giving back.
