Security is the most unfriendly. The person who was enforcing the rules regarding the covid-19 protocole had an attitude problem and was on a power trip. Try to avoid that airport if you can.

One of the worst airports I have ever flown in and out of. It seems like every time I use this airport there are delays. The last time there was a weather delay then a mechanical failiure. I have flown with both Air Canada and WestJet through this airport, both seem to be plagued with the same issues. If I have to guess, I bet only 15% of the flights I have had out of this airport left on time. Security is just one lane, and about a dozen security workers and two other lanes closed. Time might not be an issue there probably because they know your flight is going to be delayed... The airport itself lacks any amenities except for a Tim Hortons and a \Convenience Store\. Not the greatest place to be stuck at for hours, on the bright side, they have LOTS of places to plug in phone chargers, probably because they are well aware of the low priority to get off the ground here. The picture I added is of our mechanically failed, already previously delayed, AirCanada flight being towed back to the terminal.

I had trouble finding the way across to the parking lot from the terminal. I asked a very nice security guard and he directed me to the ramp inside the terminal that lead to the parking lot.

Security here is horribly slow. They are rather unprofessional. Talk amongst themselves about personal matters that nobody travelling needs to hear. And taking private phone calls while they are on the clock. Terrible people to represent catsa.

Not a huge airport by any means, but nice enough. Has a little souvenir shop and a place to get food and drinks. :)
