The Oak shopping centre in Greenock is a reasonable sized mall by the standards of a large town that is Greenock. There's a limited range of food places in the centre. The shops inside are reasonably varied and covers pretty much the A to Z of high street shopping. Many of the empty premises speak of better times and now an entire part of the mall stands empty. It's a decent enough shopping centre so that it's fine for every day things and has plenty of parking.

I used to visit the Oak Mall on a fairly regular basis, but have only gone recently to collect an order. It was late in the afternoon and the mall was very quiet. The part I visited was well organised to respect Covid-19 regulations. Unfortunately there is an increasing number of vacant shops compared to former years and with the current economic situation it may only get worse.

A reasonable selection of shops but suffering a little in the current climate with some units being vacant. Pleasent and clean centre with cafes and some common high street shops. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

The Oak Mall is in a good state of physical repair but that's the only positive. I counted 21 vacant lots. More vacancies than occupied lots and little sign of that changing. The place is screaming out for new visionary entrepreneurial management to reinvigorate the Mall and take it in a different direction. More of the same and I'll not be returning any time soon.

Unfortunately greenock is a shadow of what it used to be next to no decent shops, it has become a ghost town. It needs revitalised to bring it back to it former glory, the mall needs a verity of shops not lots of shops that are basically the same, it is sad as have lived here all my life and watched the decline. I am not trying to be derogatory with my comments, it is just a true account of what I see happening over the years
