I came in a few years ago with a high fever. They gave me a flu test and sent me home. My fever Came back and I went in to Septic Shock. I went to Columbus hospital instead and they admitted me right away but it was too late. I ended up losing two toes from lack of blood flow. I almost died because Decatur county just wants to get people in and out as quickly as possible and really don't care for the patients.

If you are going to the ER, don’t waste your time. I would highly recommend going to Columbus regional, instead.

If that's not enough you can go over to what I call the un and eat bar\ which is an are with all kinds of biscuits all wrapped up to take out, sausage biscuits, sausage egg & cheese biscuits, etc.

This hospital is amazing. All the Doctors and nurses and staff. We use the outpatient clinic and wound care. Have had many test done there too. We have also moved all our RX to their Pharmacy. So much cheaper on price along with extremely helpful and kind people.

I would give no stars if possible. Am truly done. I couldn't seem to find any close care or anyone who cared. I understand policies put in place. The need to get permission to be with the patient.duuring these times But when you have an aging parent you need to be with them. While they discussed who should make the call.to get permission Which I couldn't believe. I made the call to be told the policy. You guys have to HELP people for God's sake , Times are frustrating enough. Good marketing team though. .
