The front desk staff is wonderful. The MA that took my info once in the room, also wonderful. They are very polite, cheeeful, and professional. The NP I saw here was terrible. She wrote my health concerns off as “normal” and said multiple times that she didnt see a need for any tests. When I questioned this, she told me my problems were “probably just hormonal.” Because of the sudden onset of my symptoms, I asked again what could possibly be causing the problems I am having. She, once again, insisted that hormonal problems will sort themselves out and proceeded to push birth control on me as an attempt to treat my symptoms instead of trying to look into what is causing them. The birth control pushing was persistent until the end of the visit. It was also concerning that no urine test was done to confirm lack of pregnancy before trying to prescribe me multiple types of birth control. Upon doing a pap smear, I was asked if I would like additional testing on the specimen for certain bacterias or anything else. I said yes. She asked me why and I gave her my reasoning... she, without mentioning it, did not put in for those tests. I only knew once I got my main pap results in the mail with no additional results. This was my first visit to this office, and it will be my last. If you want birth control pushed on you or you only need a pap, this is the office for you. If you’re actually concerned about your health, look elsewhere.
