It is a very calming, beautiful and biodiversity-rich place. The WWF office is open on site to give you more information about this little paradise.

Very elegant place. Walking through the park on hot summer day should be relaxing. Suggest to visit the palace inside too. Corner rooms have the beautiful wide view. Bathrooms from that period are surprising.

Amazing place for walking and relaxing near the sea, located not far from the Miramare castle entrance. Many birds and nice rocks in the water. Nature here is so beautiful. Not far there is a public beach with pine-trees. Great place for having a rest. You can get there by buses # 6 or 36 (note that in summertime they can be very crowded).

This gorgeous park was described to me as "well, yeah...you could go there" - but if you are near Triest you definitely need to go and visit it! It is one quiet piece of land where you could sit for hours and listen to the waves and/or sit under the sun! Extremely peaceful, full of nice / calm people all over the world! If you travel by car - be patient... To get a parking slot near the official entry could be a challenge.

Just a few minutes from Trieste you will find a very beautiful castle from the times of Austro-Hungarian empire, on the shore of Adriatic see with a huge park to walk and relax. In the castle is Museum and a lot of paths to walk around and statues to see. Entrance is public you will lay only for museum. During the World war 2 the castle was a command post for United states army. Whole area is in very good shape and a lot to see. Recommended for families.

The personnel is really kind. They have an interactive museum about the ocean. You will learn about dolphins, whales, sharks, shrimps and other interesting organisms. They even have live organisms in a small aquarium.

This is a beautiful palace by the sea that is off the main touristic path. Part of what makes this wonderful. The palace is magnificent and views spectacular. There is also an educational component here dealing with the environment. There are public toilets available that are clean and well maintained.
