Recently visited and found complete 'new system' of automated banking both impersonal and unfriendly. Staff were helpful but why not use the staff to begin with and not wait until the customer is irritated and annoyed?

Just been into Barclays to ask about an app I could use for my mortgage so I could pays monies off, see my balance etc.. I was shown upstairs very quickly because the lady had an appointment in the next 10 minutes (not one in the bank).. Because I am not a Barclays bank card holder the ladies( the first lady had been joined by another because of the appointment) told me that I couldn't have the app...they were doing this whilst packing the computer equipment away... So I cannot have an app to pay my mortgage off quicker because I am not a barclays customer??? All of this felt very rushed... Thinking of moving my mortgage purely because of the awful customer service I have just recieved....
Incredibly poor service at present, I'm unable to pay money or cheques in using atm, your hours are non existent and to try and get in to the bank, is an absolute joke
TOTALLY UN ACCEPTABLE WHEN I HAVE HAD FRAUD HAPPEN IN MY ACCOUNT BEING ON HOLD 3 HOURS 20 MINS.... STILL NOT SORTED A TOTAL AND DISGRACE! DONT EVEN GO THERE WITH COVID 19 WE HAVE BEEN LIKE THIS FOR 4 MONTHS SO NO EXCUSE!! NOT HAPPY AT ALL! DISGRACEFUL
Closed branches and hardly open not even the option to pay cash in from outside. In branch is not inviting all aimed at not wanting you to go in and this started a couple of years ago.
