I will not deal with Grimsby Kia again. Purchased a used 2012 Optima from a company represented by them in Sept of 2020. To get any repair work done I had to go to Grimsby Kia which is now an hour drive from my home. I have had it back 4 times with the following issues. Fog lights not working, transmission hesitation and constant shifting or hunting, back up camera not working. They replaced the bulbs for the fog lights no problem. I returned 3 more times for the transmission issue and I had to rent a car the last time for them to have it over night. The next day they told me it was "running as intended". I still have constant shifting while driving and hesitation and shifting in and out of gears starting from a stand still. The back up camera was the best. I am fairly mechanically inclined and had diagnosed the back up camera issue. I needed a new camera. They first wanted somewhere around 115.00 to diagnose the problem. I told them it needed an new camera and didn't think the service fee was necessary. They had a camera there, so I told him I would purchase it and change it right there ( 10 minutes ) and if it didn't work I would return it. He told me that "electronic items cannot be returned" unless of course I pay the diagnostics fee and they will take the responsibility. I knew it was the camera, so I made the purchase. I opened the box while sitting in the car, and it was a USED camera!! I brought it back before I left the parking lot, showed him the scratches on the installation clips and demanded my money back, which I got. ( 299.00 plus tax ) I went to Kia.Parts on the web and ordered the part for 162.00 US plus 17.00 delivery. Got it and installed it today and works perfect. 4 trips to Grimsby Kia, about 8 hours total of driving, a car rental so they could have it over night, and they were not able to fix anything but two light bulbs, and tried to scam me on the back up camera. Not impressed with Grimsby Kia!

The staff at Kia of Grimsby were totally down to earth and willing to answer every single question that I had, and assured me that they would work hard to find the right solution. One big take away from this positive experience was how their staff promoted the idea that your car purchase "needs to make sense for you". It seems like a simple concept but it was an honest one that I didn't expect to receive from a car dealership. I appreciated the help, guidance and extreme patience ! Purchasing a vehicle is a huge endeavour and I felt truly supported and not pressured. I love the new Kia Seltos. I have recommended Kia of Grimsby to family and friends. They also gave me a gift for this scrupulous process - super funny! Cheers!
The sales staff and office staff went above and beyond for our little family! My husband and I recently lost our 4 year old daughter and passed along our wheelchair accessible van to another family. We had purchased another other vehicle through Better Way and I had my heart set on a Kia Soul, so we headed to Grimsby Kia. Looking and/or purchasing a new vehicle was a big step for my husband and I. The staff was incredibly patient and understood how sensitive of a situation this was. This was a bittersweet purchase for a us but I am absolutely thrilled with our new Kia Soul and cannot thank Josh and Tony enough for their outstanding service.

Exactly what you expect and want from a salesperson. Kelsey was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Made sure the car was sanitized and ready to be test driven. I left my car with them to replace my radiator (seperate issue). They replaced it, and then didn't bother to plug the connectors back in. I left the dealership with NO LIGHTS on the front of my car (no running lights, blinkers, brights, hazards, nothing). Extremely dangerous, and increadibly negligent on their part. UPDATE: I got a call from the service manager and he apologized. Then I got a call from the operations manager, and he apologized and offered to have my car detailed for free. I live 1.5 hours away, and drive by Grimsby a couple of times a year for training in St. Catherines, so this isn't something I'm able to use, as I explained to them. They were apologetic and professional on the phone, which was nice, but doesn't really make a difference.
From my first email to make an appointment to take a Kia Soul for a test drive until I purchased and picked up my beautiful GT Line, I experienced wonderful customer service. Starting with Christian, who couldn’t do enough for me and was always making sure that the process was clear and offering his help...to Tony, who guided us through the paperwork and financial options in a straightforward, kind manner...to Dean, who’s friendly demeanour made it a pleasure to do business...and finally to Josh, who explained everything, put the deal together and sent us on our way with our brand new Soul. Everyone at Kia Grimsby was delightful to deal with and we will highly recommend them to friends and family.
Just had an oil change. It was busy, but was there and gone in under an hour. Always friendly and.great staff .
