From the moment I went into the Phelps towns in Grimsby I was amazed by the layout and the features for a townhouse. They really hit it bang on with the design and layout of these towns. Gord Gerrie was the most knowledgeable sales person I've ever had giving us the walkthrough and overview of the house. Really enjoyed getting a tour by someone so knowledgeable about construction and about the houses. Matt from Phelps has been really great to deal with. Very helpful and very responsive. The closing date was adjusted because of COVID; but now they seem to be ahead of the new closing date. Near completion and I had a look and was really impressed by everything I saw. Looking forward and excited about moving in. These really are unique and fantastic townhouses. I would highly recommend a Phelps home. Dany

I don't own a Phelps Home, nor would I purchase one after watching them be built in my neighborhood. Take for instance this home they are building. I watched as a wind storm ripped off the Tyvek wrap, never replaced by Phelps, and now they brick without the wrap. Poor quality and poor oversight by site supervisors. Why is one dormer worthy of being wrapped and the other dormer not worthy? Typical new build 'contractor' grade quality. I wonder, would they build their home this way? If I don't share this, the potential home owner would never know. Buyer beware. UPDATE: the builder / contractor did put patches of wrap on the exposed dormer areas, however, they did not seal the seams with tuck tape making the seams susceptible to water damage.

When purchased was given a completion date, they were 3 months before they even started digging. First date was April, next date May, next June, called them 5 days before closing and said we were notified it was postponed till July 30. We did not get this. notice, they said it was an error and then sent it. They were difficult to contact and many employees were no longer available.. we had to put everything in storage and change moving date twice plus all new deliveries off furniture and.appliances had to be changed, they don’t care and just blame everything on Covid even they never quit working. There were supports cut out for ductwork and studs that were left with small pieces to support them. Communication is none existent. All this confusion has cost us 1000.00 in extra storage and having find a place to live for three months. Tarion is a joke, it only supports the builder.

I called in for some information about Phase two and Matt was extremely helpful and professional. He went above and beyond my inquiries.
