I bought a dress here in June. Wore it a couple of times, then realized it is a \Second\. The bias tape is missing on the left arm hole. I took it back today, but was told to leave it with them, and the owner would get back to me. Then I would have to find my way back to Grimsby from Hamilton to discuss the issue. I do not have a car. I choose to not have a car. I cannot expect a friend drive me to Grimsby to accommodate the owner of the store. Perhaps she can respond to this note, and let me know when she plans to be in Hamilton next. We could meet up and she can tell me what she can do to fix the issue.

This is a fabulous store, and a real find in downtown Grimsby. The owner is a complete delight (I shop there regularly) and give wonderful service. Yes, she is busy because her stores are incredibly popular. And yes, she will give you great service. I highly recommend this place - great clothes and wonderful service!
I messaged the owner of the store to purchase a pair of pants she had shown on Facebook. I received no response. In the morning, I messaged again, and was directed to private message the store page, and I would be addressed. So I did, no response. My message was never read. I then brought to the owners attention the lack of customer service, and expressed my disinterest in purchasing any product from her, and received a plethora of excuses as to why she had not responded over 14 hours. (Daytime, no sleep time.) I think your words were... my customers understand that I run 3 stores and am very busy. You should never be too busy for a new customer. Someone should have been watching your social media. In 14 hours, yo7 look at your phone, at least once. As a small business in a pandemic, this should be paramount. The funny part, however, is that when I refused her business, she was so prompt in her responses, and? I was then blocked from her comment thread, as the answers I assume were detrimental to her business, and unflattering for her. Ignoring new customers is detrimental to your business. I am in customer service and own a small business myself. Your excuses don’t work. You ignored me. I was planning on being a new, and frequent customer of your store. Now? You get negative reviews instead, from a disgruntled, almost new customer.
Love Tous Jours! Great to have this kind of variety of sizes (incl plus, and men’s) and styles in our town. Melissa and her staff give excellent service and won’t let you walk out with something that doesn’t make you look great. Looove the shoe and boot selection!
