Great restaurant. Food is delicious and the dishes are relatively big. The restaurant is not big so it is strongly suggested to book. Finally, the price is on the average.

If you are travelling anywhere near Grottaferrata, then Ristorante Mangiafuoco is the No. 1 choice. This is a family run restaurant, off the beaten tourist track, has an extensive menu and lots of 'specials' happening every week. The wine choices are also complimentary to their excellent food. It's difficult to recommend any one dish as they are all superb. Whether it is fish, steak, carbonara or Gulia's Home-made Tiramisu, you will not be disappointed. This is properly cooked, authentic Italian food; incomparable with anything in the bigger cities.

Gluten free menu was extensive, with lactose free alternatives as well. I was SO happy to find such a selection. Regional products and fancy meats to delight your taste buds. This has became one of my go to restaurant when passing through Rome

Came here based on recommendation from Uber driver on trip to Vatican City as we were staying nearby. We came for dinner around 7:45pm on the last night of our trip and basically had the whole place to ourselves. Waiter was very helpful with menu interpretation, food/wine suggestions, etc. And the meal.....absolutely delicious! From the cheese/meat appetizer (antipasto mangiafuoco), to the wine (myself - Tuscan red wine, wife - prosecco), to the pasta (myself - tagliolini al tartufo nero pregiato, wife - fettuccine cacio e pepe) and finally to the dessert (tiramisu to share of course!) it was all spectacular. We could not have asked for a better last dinner in Italy. Definitely worth a stop if you are nearby and want great service and even better food!
