Cool place, mostly caters to hang gliding and small airplane enthusiasts, but also allows others. It is a good place to park you RV for a few days no matter what brings you to the Groveland area. Management are friendly and accommodating, other campers are respectful, and the natural beauty of Central Florida is on full display.

Paradise Air Sports at Wilotree Park (Field) is a premier hang gliding port in every way! Exciting and fun for everyone! Not only do they have very current, reliable, and high-quality equipment; qualified, certified instructors and pilots who are #1 safety conscious and people-friendly, but they TRULY CARE about the sport of hang gliding and love educating and promoting it. Wilotree has been HONORED by being sanctioned by the FAI (Federation Aeronautique Internationale) as the venue for the 2020 WORLD HANG GLIDING CHAMPIONSHIP in April 18- - May 1, 2020. The FAI is the governing body for all World Air Games. They have a lake for swimming and water sports, a beautiful swimming pool and camper/RV rental spaces. Additionally, recently renovated rooms for rent in their main office building. There is a volleyball court and picnic camping sites. Also a pro-shop - Air Sports equipment sales store and tee shirts and other accessory-related items. Their mission is simple: To promote and educate the hang gliding community as to the safety, thrill and fun this sport offers for pilots, flyers, and fans. Their many acres of property make flying a truly exciting adventure for the pilots, hang gliders and spectators. I love Wilotree‼️ You will too

If I could give six stars I would! It starts with Victoria the flight park manager, concierge, ground crew, site host, and all around great individual! The rooms are cute, clean and cold a/c! The flying is amazing, the best tug pilots, the safest tandem pilots and all around relaxing welcoming atmosphere! If you want to learn to fly, do it here! If you want to experience free flight in a beautiful region of the country, do it here! If you love camping, relaxing at the lake, and unplugging this is the place! (Or not unplugging because the wi fi is great!) Thank you Wilotree, see you soon!

Wilotree Park is a vast natural region in central Florida. It has a placid-glossy lake surrounded by slightly elevated marshland with formations of trees giving it a small forest appearance of a dome from above. The most unique feature is the Paradise Airsport airfield that hosts light-sport aircraft and ultralights, toes, rides and flying lessons. There is a clubhouse on the property that provides lodging, clean bathrooms, kitchen facilities, game room are with pool table and outdoor hammocks and multi deck picnic table eating areas. Visitors can camp all around this sizable property rich with plant and animal diversity. The entire community - staff and visitors - are good people. I came to learn how to fly an ultralight plane and watch the air trikes and hangliders.. I love spending time outdoors in natural settings in the pursuit of activities providing the most enjoyment. This place has it all!!! P.S. A special thank you to Victoria and Bobby!
