We have rented from the Westerville store several times with great experiences. Our last rental we had a challenge, but they reached out and took care of it. Our experience has been that they are fair and appreciate relationships with companies who rent equipment time and again.

I’ve rented the 8hp auger from Franklin Equipment (Groveport store) several times. Although it’s a small piece of equipment, the rental process was very simple, the price was good and the auger performed well each time without any issues at all. The guys at the rental counter are awesome. I’ll definitely Be using Franklin Equipment for any future needs.

Although they refunded my money (250) this is a terrible problem that's easily fixed. I'm afraid it won't be fixed, so I'm taking the time to send this warning about this VERY expensive rental company's policy on returning equipment. I was told it's in the contract that they charge 250, o matter what in the colder weather\, to clean the equipment when its returned. I returned it in the same condition as i received it and was still charged the 250 for cleaning. I was told the vehicle needs to, \sit for several hours to thaw and then they start to clean it\. The weather since I returned it has been between 30 and 50 degrees.?.? This is an absurd excuse to charge this amount for cleaning which in fact was not disclosed to me before the rental or even after the return. As a matter of fact Candice said \it's in the contract\, I haven't been able to find it anywhere on the back of the invoice or in the contract on the front of the first invoice. I'm sending pictures. The first picture is what I received when I rented the equipment and the second picture is the final contract which I received in the mail several days after the rental. You'll notice on the first invoice it says NOTHING about a cleaning fee, but on the second one that I received several days later does have the 250 charges. How convenient of a company to add information to an invoice after its returned and there isn't any possible way for the customer to refute their claims and charges. You can reach me anytime and I'd be happy to discuss this in even more detail. side note; The cleaning charge is almost half the charge to rent the equipment for the entire day. first invoice charges 550.12 second invoice charges 818.88 The last picture is of the contract on the back of the invoice for reference of the information and facts. Its almost impossible to read in real size and light with a magnifying glass... RIDICULOUS!
