Grunyk Family Law was recommended to me with there words: during the divorce you will need someone who can present your case to the court. Leah handled my case with attention to detail, emotional maturity , calmness , understanding. I found her approach to me and the opposite side friendly, firm and informative, which translated this very emotionally and financially draining process into manageable necessity. I will be forever grateful to her and her team Member - Renee.

Leah Setzen and the Grunyk Law firm was so kind, friendly and knowledgable. I would definitely recommend them to help navigate a legal family issue.

I would recommend Grunyk Family Law to anyone in need of legal advice for any type of divorce. My divorce was extremely complicated and not amicable. I hired Leah because she was highly recommended and she did not let me down. Together we went through months of complicated paperwork, depositions and trial. Leah was always encouraging me to be balanced while also informing me of what I was legally entitled too. Leah was knowledgeable, quick to respond, kept me updated on my case, and was able to achieve the best result I was hoping for. The entire team Renee, Vicki and Ms Grunyk supported me during trial. Even the judge recognized Leah's hard work. I would give Leah and Grunyk family Law team 10 stars if I could.

RUN! Divorce/NO kids/NO Trial Cost me XXX,000 reimburse exhusband for my legal fees. Forced to review divorce agreement for 1st time, moments b4 judge appearance, w opposing counsel & ex threatening trial. Many things I did not agree or know, but in an effort to finalize I just moved forward. I was represented with a different attorney, even though this was specifically discussed and agreed. Several Billing Errors/duplication. Billed weekly for company status meeting and add'l meetings without knowledge. At least one of the lawyers listed in other reviews, is no longer with the company. Dayna said she moved out of state, but actually she is at a different firm with diff concepts. I have PTSD not from my divorce, but from my experience with this lawfirm.

Vicki Kelly of Grunyk Family Law is the best of the best. She listens to you as a client and guides you through the whole process making it as painless as can be. Vicki knows her job well and won’t let you down.

I had Leah a few years ago for a child custody battle. I spent over 20k and in the end it turns out she didn’t even know the laws. I even had proof that she was giving me false information in emails and showed the owner Grunyk. Grunyk sent me a letter and had her back making up things in her defense. So Grunyk tried to twist things and was in denial instead of making things correct. I also contacted two other lawyers outside that firm and they both said Leah was wrong. One even printed out more proof for me for what the law states. Grunyk still Denied to do the correct action on her firms huge mistake. When you pay someone hundreds of dollars per hour they NEED to know the law! Grunyk should of taken responsibility! Beware!!! Beware!!! Beware!!!

My wife and I chose the collaborative divorce process because it seemed (and proved) more civil and less expensive. Interviewed several collaborative divorce attorneys before choosing Ms. Danya Grunyk herself to represent me. She offered a clear explanation of the process, what to expect and budget for, how long it might take. In her dealings with my wife and her counsel, Ms. Grunyk was respectful and faithful to the collaborative divorce philosophy, and always firmly for me. Ms. Grunyk explained proposals from my spouse’s attorney plus their ramifications, so that I could make logical, informed decisions (vs. emotional ones); while offering background info, she offered opinions only when requested. All thru the process, Ms. Grunyk and her associates gave full, prompt explanations to my concerns and questions, professional and personable to everyone involved. I was pleased with the settlement too. Costly court time was minimal and oddly the least stressful part of the whole process. Additionally, her associates were useful post-divorce resources, especially for updating estate plans, trusts, etc. I’d rather not suffer another divorce, but if obliged to, Grunyk & Associates are my choice.

I believe I have worked with Katie for as long as she has been an attorney. As a divorce mediator, I rely on family law attorneys to represent one of my clients with the legal piece of the divorce process. Katie has handled everyone of those cases with professionalism, timely responses to phone calls and emails and has kept the costs reasonable whenever possible. She has also helped clients of mine who have needed a little more of an "aggressive" attorney when the other client starts to get nasty. However, she doesn't stir the pot and is always settlement minded. I highly recommend Katie for all family law situations.
