The room was big and inspired by the 18th century. It was a very nice and clean room. The hotel also had a beautiful garden with tons of flowers. But if you get a room facing the main street theres some noise from the traffic, and the old building isn't very isolated from sounds. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was okay, the food was good but the portions were way too small, and very expensive. The breakfast was also okay. Nothing special here.

My only defence is to write this review. I have been cheated for SEK 1900 by the owners and they refuse to even talk to me to explain how they think. Let me start: Me and the lady booked what we thought was a luxurious hotel stay, 2 nights. The first thing we ask when we get there is if there is any good lunch restaurant nearby, to which we get the answer that "no there is nothing, but amalia's cafe is a bit away, they have sandwiches". Once out in the village we find that there are many places for lunch. Small annoying behavior. The night comes, it is high summer. Our room, although cozy apart from the funky smell, has no air conditioning and opening a window hardly helps. Weary after a long sleep attempt we put on the TV. Trying to get channels started for maybe 30 minutes, but simply can't. Then I get angry, I don't think this is particularly luxurious. The morning after we eat breakfast, it holds a very high level, 5/5. Then we go to rec and ask if we can check out a day earlier. Rec checks with his manager and tells us that we then have to pay for the second night as well. I counter with how our experience has been and then rec agrees that we only have to pay one night. I pay with my card and we take another hotel the second night. 3 weeks goes by. The cost of night # 2 is deducted from my account, amalia's house it says. Must be something wrong I think, so contact both the hotel and the hotel broker. After several days of annoying contact with both, it is clear that the intermediary can do nothing because I can not prove that we were told we just had to pay for one night, and that the hotel owner simply refuses even to answer my calls. It is probably quite obvious what I think about this, but if I can influence anyone's decision about where to stay then it is a little comforting. I think I have the right to write this review and I have been completely truthful. Thank you for reading

Nice, little nd cozy hotel. The rooms are quite small, not really enough space. Dont rely on the wifi signal tho. Staff is very friendly and helpful!

Such a nice little hotel. The rooms are all different and even distributed over a few buildings, but everyone is very lovely. The breakfast is very good and served in a nice, living-room-like room with nice outside seeting.

Very nice, small houses clustered together like a Hobbit village. Nice small breakfast, very well kept and nice personnel.

This is really a litle hideaway heaven in gränna. Great staff and the restaurant servers close to a 6 star dinner with a great young chef that even takes time to come out and listen and talk with one. One can really enjoy the views and the relaxing atmosphere of this litle hotel. Rooms are very cossy. I can varmly recommend to stay here and enjoy.
