Came here from a Twitter recommendation. Crazy how some gems are missed due to not knowing about them. The food is delicious, the owners were very welcoming with a newbie to Jamaican food. Can’t wait to be back for takeout (COVID-19) and inside once this is over because the ambiance inside is great...loved the music and I’m sure I’ll be in for a good time when dining in.

Delicious Jamaican cuisine! I had the Curry Goat and it was delectable. Very well seasoned and the goat was nice and tender. The rice was very complimentary to the flavor profile of the goat and was a pleasure all its own. I was surprised at the flavor of the cabbage and carrots, in a good way. Not nearly as bitter as I'm used to getting out of cabbage. For those of you who haven't had goat and are looking to try something new this is a great start. Just know it is common to have goat cooked with some of the bones left in. Just chew carefully, spit the bones out and enjoy this tender delight.

I love Gee's. I found out about their oxtails when Olathe hosted Junetenth at Fairview Park. Try it you won't be disappointed

Today was my first time at G's Jamaican Quisine, and my first time with Jamaican cuisine! I had the oxtail and my friend had the jerk chicken. Both were solid entrees. The juiciness of the meat and the sauce that the oxtail and rice were drenched in were amazing. Definitely a great first impression of Jamaican cuisine! The only reason I am rating this four instead of five stars is because of the aesthetics of the place. It was alright and pretty typical of a small single-person- or family-run restaurant. Wouldn't stop me from going there and trying some more great Jamaican food!

Small restaurant packed with flavor. We are always on the lookout for small restaurants that aren't food chains and that make authentic food prepared by chefs that cook with love. This gem has delicious Jamaican cuisine, fully stocked bar, great music, and wonderful service. If you have a taste for great food and island music stop in try the oxtail and jerk chicken you won't be disappointed.
