One of California's Hidden Treasures... Cecil B demille's movie of The Ten Commandments was filmed here. The great shots of all the Egyptian artifacts they were buried in the sand are now being excavated here and shown in their Museum they must stop and visit on your way up to Pismo Beach.

A museum of the Central Coast, friendly knowledgeable docents, and a good offering of exhibits on the local area. Provides outreach to local kids with after school science enrichment programs, outdoor education. Low admission of 5.00 gets you into one of the best small museums in California. Well worth the visit.

Dont try to navigate to this place as you cannot reach it by car. You have to go to the county park (Guadalupe Dunes Park, 6999 W Main Guadalupe, CA 93434) just to the south and walk along the beach 1.8 miles north to reach it. that is the only way to get there unless you have a helicopter. The county park is lovely
