Not all children excel in a traditional environment: Some need first to obtain the tools to know how to navigate the typical school environment. This kind of learning needs to take place before the child is put into a situation that exceeds his/her current abilities and in which s/he may experience unnecessary failure. Monarch exists out of the need for there to be a school for children who process the world in a different way from the 'neurotypical' child does. We exist to give families the hope for a future in which their child will be independent, productive and, most importantly, happy.
