Innovation Valley Is a program that creates leaders and Innovators in the community by sending Engineering students from the University Of Guelph to mentor high school students in the process of building, designing and presenting an Engineering project to professional engineers for a competition we hold at our University. Throughout this process students are encouraged to understand and develop the 9 essential skills required for success at work by developing a written business plan, presenting to a panel of education and industry judges, and competing against other Guelph schools for scholarships and bursaries to encourage high school students to attend university. Our goal is to empower the youth community within Guelph through our School Of Engineering students using concepts we learn in class and skills we acquire at university.
