We recently hired M2 Contractors to build a ground floor addition onto our home in Guelph to add a second bedroom and foyer to our existing basement apartment. I am very pleased with working with M2 for the following reasons: 1.\tCompetitive pricing: M2’s quotation was very competitive for this project. Also, as the price of lumber increased due to the pandemic, M2 absorbed the increase without passing it on to us. 2.\tCustomer Service: When we had any questions, M2 always did their best to respond the same day. Sometimes, they even responded with one hour. 3.\tTimeliness of completion: M2 committed to completing the project by October 31 they met that date by 99%. There was a delay at the very end of the project from the eaves trough sub-contractor, but M2 addressed the situation and got the installation completed shortly after. 4.\tQuality of workmanship: We are very pleased with how the addition turned out. Everything was done to what we agreed to in the Contract. 5.\tCovid-19 safety measures: M2 addressed the pandemic by having each sub-contractor crew work in their own bubble. No two crews were allowed to be in the same location indoors or out at the same time, and all crews were routinely tested. I would not hesitate to highly recommend M2 Contractors to anyone.

M2 Contractors (Matt & Matt) did an amazing job on our main floor renovation and new kitchen. It exceeded our expectations and vision! The careful and competent work at each stage of the project was impressive, and the quality of the final product is excellent. Matt and Matt, the lead teams, and sub-contractors were all polite, friendly and very skilled in their work. M2 kept to the timeline throughout the project and completed this major renovation in the promised eight weeks. We were kept up to date and involved in the process by communicating through their software program, emails, texts and on-site chats. Once the budget was agreed upon, they kept to it, and even included some extras. We are more than pleased with the experience we had with M2 and would highly recommend them. We worked with M2 Contractors on a main floor and basement renovation this spring. I cannot speak more highly of Matt and Matt; their professionalism, attention to detail, expertise and honesty. We were impressed every day with their team, the quality of the work and how they were always on time or ahead of time. I have since recommended them to many friends in the Guelph area and would use them again for future projects without hesitation.
M2 is an amazing company. We started a main floor renovation just as COVID was beginning. Fortunately for us, they were able to proceed and for the most part stay within the time lines set out. The quality of the workmanship is impeccable. They work with some of the best trades we have seen. They all take such pride in their work and were all so respectful of us and our home. Both Matts were absolutely great to work with. No request was too much. They responded to all of our emails and calls within minutes. The professionalism from both of them is evident from the very first meeting with them.The finished product is absolutely beautiful and we couldn’t be happier. We would definitely recommend them to anyone!
I cannot say enough about working with M2 contractors! They did beautiful work with our kitchen renovation. They kept perfectly on schedule and on budget and were incredibly friendly and lovely to work with. Would recommend them with reservation.
