Very accommodating experience at this location. Both my wife and I are medically exempt to the mandatory mask by law. Every worker continued to be helpful as we do not get this service at most places these days. We found all of our paint and paint supplies easily and exactly as needed. People who are mask exempt still have plenty of money to spend! Thank you.

We decided to redo our kitchen. Paula at Guelph home depot was very helpful in turning our thoughts into reality. She matched our suggestions and accommodated our needs, she was VERY understanding and patient with our plans. However..... I do not recommend the delivery service! No warning of the first delivery, waited for hours the next day only to receive half of the order. Also the driver almost dumped part of it trying to unload. Now we are waiting to see when the rest might be delivered. Shame on you Home Depot for using a terrible 3rd party and on an order of thousands of dollars sending it no signature and no one required to receive the order. I would not recommend or do this again.
Always love Guelph Home Depot as I'm fairly confident I'll find what I need there. I like the layout of the store mostly and the staff are generally very helpful. During lockdown curbside pickup was nice to have though they say you should budget up to an hour of your time and for pickup items and I would agree although it usually only took about half an hour. P.S. There was a fellow in the parking lot in a white van at the back trying to pull an old white van speaker scam with me the last time I was there. This scam has been around since the eighties. Look it up. I didn't have time to get involved. I know it's hard to monitor these things as scammers are mostly random unless they've had particular success at a certain location. Watch for this please when you are shopping and perhaps ownership can be on the lookout for strange interactions in the lot.
Couple things to consider during the lockdown... you're at the mercy of whoever is picking your order (when it comes to lumber). I have ordered extra because of that... there were boards I will return because they're unusable... but I expect a certain amount of rejects. The orders were ready fairly quickly... usually within 2 hours of placing the order. Their curbside pickup operation has become fairly smooth and quick... I'm in and out of there within 15 minutes. If you place orders on a Saturday, expect to wait longer. Overall a pleasant experience with Home Depot.
