Restaurant was not busy at all but Paco/Francisco was very eager to serve and excited to have some business which is common theme during these hard times for all in the service industry. We also stayed in the campgrounds behind the restaurant for an evening (300 pesos). Nice big open lot with pull through spaces, full hook ups and plenty of room for our 60' rig. There were dogs that lived on the property but gave us really no issue when we were out with ours. Great layover for the long haul we did between Santispac to San Felipe.

The restaurant was really attentive but the rv park was just bare despite being paved in scallop shells. Plus the whale tour was a must do. This place has it all!
The flan is perfect, the meals are great, and it's in a very cool building. They have a small whale education museum inside, and you can book a whale tour there. I've also stayed in their RV parking area several times.
Wow! Friends told us ‘it’s the first building after the wheel spray’ and to not miss it. SO GOOD. I think it’s the most perfect chicken taco I’ve ever had. Lightly fried, perfect proportions Generous portions and GREAT margaritas. What a treat after a long journey south
Best Lobster in town hands down. I would've given it 5-stars, but they get terribly confused when trying to keep track of the checks so just be patient. We had 10 or so in our party and everyone ordered something different and everything was great. Don't be in a rush and enjoy yourself.
This is a wonderful place if you’re passing through, spacious lots for camping (cheap too) and a big dinning area for breakfast lunch and dinner. Let’s do the pros: Dog friendly Offer breakfast, lunch and dinner Extremely friendly staff*** Coffee is great They are a conservation based establishment!!!! (Meaning they obtain no illegal or poached products) and they promote whale safety Showers are hot! Cons: Their dogs bark a lot
After 10 days of camping along the coast and in the mountains I felt like I had died and gone to heaven arriving at Mario’s. Hot showers!! OMG. Great food and super nice people! The building is very cool as well. I saw the whales in Alaska last year so passed on the tour but I hear it is fantastic. If nothing else stop in a just look around.
Awesome dinner and great service. I never tire of fresh seafood and guacamole! Mario's does it right.
