Nice place, very chilled. Went in to get a trophy engraved as timpsons had reported the plates were too big (after having kept it overnight to make sure). Guildford Cobblers however cheerfully accepted the request and much to my surprise the turnaround was less than an hour. The engraving looked much better than previous engravings on the trophy and to ice the cake they were cheaper than timpsons. Truly an impressive outfit

Had two items engraved - very unhappy with both. One the typeface was the wrong size, and didn't match previous engraving, the second was so feint you could hardly see it, and the lettering wasn't straight.(see photo). The quality of the work was poor, and there was no apology. Said the only thing that could do was re-engrave my name underneath the one they had already done badly, so my name would be there twice. Attitude was offhand and disinterested. I will never use them again. I wanted to support a local independent - big mistake.
I have used guildford cobblers for over 5 years, repairs have always been outstanding and when i thought they could not surprise me anymore they've pulled it out the bag!! My old battered shoes look better than when i first bought them! Thank you again for yet another fantastic job! Highly recommend this small independent business friendly staff that take pride in what they do!
Fantastic service! after being quoted ridiculous prices for a single watch battery elswhere i found Guildford Cobblers. very good price (less than a third most places quoted) and done the job whilst i waited! I have since returned with keys and shoe repairs! My new favourite shop
